1. Who we are
Nuvvle is a dating service that matches you to real people based on the ideal partner you build. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and your choices.
2. Information we collect
You provide: email, first and last name, display name, date of birth, gender and who you’re seeking, city/region, height/weight, an optional photo and bio, lifestyle preferences (intent, kids, drinking, smoking), interests, and your self-rated attributes. Automatically: basic usage and device data. Payments: handled by Stripe — we receive subscription status and identifiers, never your full card number.
3. How we use it
To create your profile and match you with compatible members near you; to operate the build-and-match experience; to process subscriptions; to keep the community safe (detecting abuse, handling reports and blocks); to communicate with you about your account; and to improve the Service.
4. What we show other members
Your display name, age, approximate distance, photo, shared interests, and match score can be shown to potential matches. Your last name and email are not shown to other members. Your exact location is never shown — only approximate distance.
5. How we share
We share data with service providers who run the Service on our behalf — Supabase (database/auth), Stripe (payments), and Vercel (hosting) — under contract. We may disclose information to comply with law or protect members. We do not sell your personal information.
6. Your rights & choices
You can access and update your profile, and request deletion of your account and data. Depending on where you live (e.g., EEA/UK under GDPR, California under CCPA/CPRA), you may have rights to access, correct, delete, port, or restrict processing of your data, and to opt out of certain uses. Contact us to exercise these rights.
7. Data retention
We keep your information while your account is active and as needed to provide the Service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. When you delete your account we delete or de-identify your data, subject to those obligations.
8. Security
We use industry-standard measures — encrypted transport, row-level access controls, and passwordless authentication. No system is perfectly secure; please use a secure email account and report anything suspicious.
9. Age
Nuvvle is for adults 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If we learn an account belongs to a minor, we will delete it.
10. Changes
We may update this policy and will update the date above. Material changes will be communicated to you.
